Refund and Cancellation Policy of the UAE Mover

At UAE Movers, we aim to provide reliable and well-organized moving services across Dubai and the UAE. We understand that plans can change, and sometimes customers may need to cancel or modify their booking. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds are handled when you book our services.

By confirming a booking with UAE Movers, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

1. Booking Confirmation

A booking is considered confirmed when:

  • Service details are agreed upon
  • A date and time are scheduled
  • A quotation is accepted

Once confirmed, our team reserves trucks, staff, and time slots specifically for your move. This preparation affects availability for other customers.

2. Cancellation by Customer

Customers may cancel a confirmed booking by contacting us through our official communication channels. Cancellation terms depend on how early the request is made.

2.1 Cancellation Timeframes

  • More than 72 hours before the scheduled move
    A full refund of any advance payment may be issued.
  • Between 24 and 72 hours before the move
    A partial refund of up to 50% may be issued to cover preparation and scheduling costs.
  • Less than 24 hours before the move
    No refund will be provided, as operational resources have already been allocated.

3. Rescheduling a Move

We understand that unexpected situations can arise. Customers may request to reschedule their moving date.

  • Rescheduling requests should be made at least 24 hours in advance
  • Approval depends on service availability
  • Additional charges may apply if new arrangements require extra resources

Rescheduling does not automatically qualify for a refund.

4. Cancellation by UAE Movers

In rare cases, UAE Movers may need to cancel a booking due to:

  • Severe weather conditions
  • Safety concerns
  • Vehicle breakdowns
  • Operational emergencies

If we cancel, customers will receive:

  • A full refund of any payments made
  • Or the option to reschedule at no extra cost

We aim to provide advance notice whenever possible.

5. Refund Eligibility

Refunds are only processed for cancellations that meet the timeframes mentioned above. Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

  • Customer no-show on the moving day
  • Incomplete or incorrect booking details causing delays
  • Partial completion of service after work has started
  • Refusal of service once the moving team has arrived

6. No-Show Policy

If the customer or authorized contact is not present at the agreed location:

  • Our team will wait up to 30 minutes
  • After this period, the service may be marked as a no-show
  • No refund will be provided

This policy covers labor, vehicle use, and scheduling commitments.

7. Service Interruptions

If a move is delayed due to customer-related issues such as:

  • Building access problems
  • Parking restrictions
  • Elevator availability

Additional waiting charges may apply. These situations do not qualify for refunds.

8. Refund Processing

Once a refund request is approved:

  • The request is reviewed within 2–3 business days
  • Refunds are processed within 7–14 business days
  • Funds are returned using the original payment method

Processing times may vary depending on banking providers.

9. Requesting a Refund

To request a refund, customers must provide:

  • Booking reference or service date
  • Full name used during booking
  • Reason for cancellation
  • Proof of payment

Requests should be submitted through our official contact channels.

10. Payments and Deposits

Advance payments or deposits are used to reserve resources. Deposit refunds depend on cancellation timing as outlined above. If services have already started, deposits are non-refundable.

11. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond our control, including:

  • Natural disasters
  • Government restrictions
  • Traffic accidents
  • Public emergencies

In such cases, we will attempt to reschedule services where possible.
